David Kirkitadze will be charged this afternoon. The policemen involved in the incident that took place in Velistsikhe will be questioned as well. One of the leaders of United Opposition is in the temporary detention isolator where he declared a hunger strike in protest.

"We are going to prove to the court that the allegation has no legal basis, we are going to prove that Davit Kirkitadze and thousands of people who were gathered in Kakheti region, tried to exercise their rights," said Giorgi Kondakhishvili, the lawyer of Davit Kirkitadze.

Giorgi Botkoveli, member of United National Movement says that David Kirkitadze is detained due to political reasons.
