Eka Beselia assesses the decision of the political council and says that Irakli Kobakhidze disseminated the wrong information about the draft law initiated by her.
According to Beselia, the main reason for making wrong conclusions is that there was no discussion within the majority around this project.
"It is wrong to say that the majority did not know about the initiative and the majority was not aware of the preparation of this initiative I have twice raised the issue at the last sitting and asked whether they would support the suspension of judges or not, all agreed with the idea," said Eka Beselia.
It is already known that Eka Beselia"s draft law, which envisages suspension of lifetime appointment of judges for 5 years, will not have the support of the parliamentary majority.
