A 19-year-old boy has killed his mother and grandmother with an axe in Tbilisi.
As the Ministry of Internal Affairs told Kurieri, the boy killed his mother (date of birth - 1974) and grandmother (date of birth - 1946) while they were sleeping.

Police said the defendant was detained at the scene of the crime.

Expert-criminologists are working in the house of the deceased.

An investigation is launched under Articles 11 (I) and 109 of the Criminal Code of Georgia (intentional killing of two or more family members under aggravating circumstances). The boy faces from 16 to 20 years in prison or life imprisonment.
