The epidemic situation in the country is becoming more and more manageable. Such a statement made the Head of the National Center for Disease Conrol.
But, added Amiran Gamkrelidze, despite a very low number of COVID-19 cases, we must be concerned as the situation still remains tense in our neighbor countries with which we have business relations.
“The coronavirus is still raging in other countries, and the situation there is still tense. All countries are still facing a COVID-19 outbreak, except for Turkey, which is now on a downward slope.
This is the reason why we cannot calm down, and implement all measures, including understanding the necessity of wearing facemasks”, - said the Head of NCDC.
