Tbilisi budget for 2021 to be sent to the City Council for consideration

Tbilisi City Hall will present the draft budget for next year to the City Council today. The main financial document of the capital in 2021 will consist of GEL 1.1 billion.

According to Kakha Kaladze 33% of this budget will be spent on social and healthcare projects.

“33% of the budget of the nest year will be spent on social and healthcare projects. In 2021 it is fundamentally important to implement various types of projects in the city. The city’s 2020 budget was GEL 1.23 billion. Much of the Tbilisi budget for 2020 was used to replace old yellow buses and renew the city’s public transport fleet”, - added the Mayor of Tbilisi.
