A 60-year-old doctor died of coronavirus at the Kutaisi Infectious Diseases Clinic. Rusudan Jikia had a concomitant disease. She tested positive for COVID-19 a few days ago.

The doctor worked as a gynecologist in the new maternity hospital N2 in Kutaisi.

According to the medical director of the clinic, Nodar Maglaperidze, at this stage, 79 patients are being treated in the hospital.
