The 32nd Battalion of III Infantry Brigade of the Georgian Armed Forces (GAF) left for the NATO-led peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan.

Before the departure, soldiers underwent full pre-deployment training in Georgia, instead of Germany.

For the next six months, Georgian peacekeepers will continue providing security for the Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan’s Parwan province.
