Ministry of Internal Affairs solved the case of wounding that took place last year in “Tsitsinatela” park

The officers of the Central Criminal Police Department and Sagarejo police division of Kakheti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of jointly held investigative and special operative measures detained one person for the case of wounding that took place in August 7, 2020 in the park of “Tsitsinatela”.


Previously convicted A.A. (D0B1980) was wanted from August 2020 for the attempted murder committed under aggravating circumstances, violence and illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearms.


Committed crime envisages from 7 to 17 years of imprisonment.


Investigation established that on August 7, 2020 during the conflict on the territory of “Tsitsinatela” park detainee wounded 2 citizens. After the incident he chased relatives of the wounded persons by car and made several shots with a firearm to their direction in Kobuleti on Aghmashenebeli Street. After the incident A.A. fled from the place of crime.


A.A. was exposed regarding the mentioned incident on the same day by the police under the article 19-109 II part, sub-paragraph A and B and article 126 1 sub-paragraph B and article 236 III and IV parts of the Criminal Code of Georgia. After A.A. was charged he was announced as wanted.


Police detained the wanted person on January 6 in Tokhliauri village, Sagarejo municipality. Law enforcers seized 2 “Makarov” pistols, "WEİHRAUCH MELLRİCHSTADT" revolver, 3 cartridges, 47 bullets and 2 knifes.


Investigation against A.A. is conducted on the fact of the attempted murder committed under aggravating circumstances, violence and illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearm, article 19-109 II part, sub-paragraph A and B and article 126 1 sub-paragraph B and article 236 III and IV parts of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
