Christmas presents were handed over to the representatives of the Patriarchate on behalf of the Parliament of Georgia.

It should be mentioned that Alilo will be observed this year in a different way, due to the pandemic. Clergy will congratulate the population on Christmas by chanting and pouring blessed water from the motor vehicles. The procession will take place in three directions of the capital starting from 14:00.

This year citizens can bring donated gifts to the Republic Square from 2 pm to 5 pm. The donation will be distributed to orphanages, elderly houses, and penitentiary facilities as usual.
