The Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre (NOVAT) terminated its contract with Georgian prima ballerina Nina Ananiashvili.

NOVAT artistic director, Vladimir Kekhman, and Nino Ananiashvili held talks before the decision.

A few days ago Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre released a statement saying that disclosing the name of the director before an official appointment is disrespectful.
