A verbal confrontation occurred between Beso Katamadze, a member of the United National Movement, and Vasil Chigogidze, a majoritarian MP of the Georgian Dream, in the village of Buknari.
Katamadze asked Chigogidze to fulfill the promises made to the locals during the election campaign. The case concerns the construction of a mosque in the village.
Members of the Georgian Dream called Katamadze a provocateur. A member of the UNM was taken out of the territory by the law enforcers.
The population is gathered in the center of Buknari. According to them, the Muslim and Orthodox parishes should reconcile today.
