Removal of regulations may lead to an increase in infections. Such a statement made Tengiz Tsertsvadze, Director General of the Infectious Diseases, AIDS and Clinical Immunology Research Center.

“The lifting of regulations could lead to some increase. Personally, I have consistently advocated only gradual lifting and called for restraint from total lifting.

This may force us to go back to the limitations.

If we follow the minimum regulations, indoor and outdoor spaces, social distance, then we will painlessly pass this period and we will not need to go back to lockdown again”, - said Tengiz Tsertsvadze.
