Parliament of Georgia to set example of tolerance - Viola von Cramon

It is imperative to develop and learn ways of reconciling our possible, differing views in a peaceful and constructive way at all levels of the government and society. Such a statement made the member of the European Parliament Viola von Cramon, while commenting July 5 events.

“It is a duty of the Georgian government, the Georgian Parliament to set an example of tolerance, respect to differences and openness to compromise and dialogue, as a fundamental step on its European path. I light of these developments, through this conference we aim to initiate the discussion around guiding principles and best European practices of interparty communication, collaboration and division of responsibility within the parliamentary structure in hopes that these insides might prove valuable for our Georgian colleagues”, - added the MEP.
