Police solved the case of murder and wounding in Rustavi - 2 persons detained

The officers of Kvemo Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of operative-investigative activities detained two persons - N.D. (DoB 2001) and G.Ch. (DoB1986).

N.D. is charged with premeditated murder and attempted premeditated murder committed against two or more persons under aggravating circumstances, while G.C. is charged with non-reporting of especially grave crime.

The investigation established that N.D. wounded G.B. (DoB1994) and G.A. (DoB1994) with a cold steel during the confrontation on Todria Street, Rustavi. After the incident, the detainee fled from the crime scene along with his companion - G.Ch. Due to the sustained traumas G.A. died shortly after being transferred to the hospital, while G.B. is receiving appropriate medical treatment.

G.Ch. did not inform the police regarding the incident.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder and attempted premeditated murder committed against two or more persons under aggravating circumstances and non-reporting the crime, articles 108, 19-108 and 376, II part of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
