No-one can be surprised that the country’s jailed Mikheil Saakashvili is trying to escape justice. Such a statement made today the MP from the Georgian Dream Mamuka Mdinaradze.

“He had been provided with all necessary, qualified medical care since his arrest in Tbilisi in October. He is the creator of a criminal regime which tortured prisoners while in office.

Whether Saakashvili has serious or less-serious health issues, he will be provided with highly-qualified medical aid. No-one under the current state authorities will even think of committing the kind of things towards inmates the United National Movement did while in power”, - said Mamuka Mdinaradze.
