Georgia hosted 912 041 international visitors in August - 195.5% more compared to the same period of 2021.

According to the Georgian National Tourism Administration, authorities had recorded a 67.1% recovery in the monthly figure compared to 2019.

The number included 582 995 tourist visits - 135.8% and 77.4% higher compared to 2021 and 2019 respectively.

A total of 3 256 370 international travelers visited Georgia between January-August of 2022, 51.5% higher compared to the pre-pandemic period.
