This is my principle: I will not talk to those who issue ultimatums - Volodymyr Zelensky

President of Ukraine today does not plan to start negotiations with the head of the ruling regime of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. Volodymyr Zelensky stated this in an interview with CNN host Farid Zakaria.

“I don’t see any desire on their (Kremlin’s side) to be constructive. As for their ultimatums, I don’t care who put forward these ultimatums – he (Putin – ed.) or someone else. This is my principle – I will not talk to those who issue ultimatums”, - said the President.

He also stressed that any agreement between Ukraine and Russia can be concluded only on condition of the complete withdrawal of the troops of the aggressor country from all Ukrainian territory.

“I know that some countries are pushing us towards the Minsk process. I want the world to recognize that one thing is a diplomatic solution, and the other is Minsk-2, -3, -5, -10. These are two different things, because that “Minsk” (the so-called Minsk agreements) is an empty piece of paper that will allow Russia to rest before the next invasion”, - added Zelensky.
