We had strict control over the border checkpoints before too, as to where tourists were going, with what funds. Today this control is tightened. Such a statement made today the Minister of Defense, while talking about the situation at the Zemo Larsi checkpoint.

“Today this control is tightened with even more resources and we see no threats at this stage. If you ask me individually whether all citizens of Russia have good faith or not, there was this risk even before this situation.

The theoretical risk was always there. If suspicions of risk arise, of course, they are controlled”, - said Juansher Burchuladze.
