The trial on the issue of postponement of the sentence or release of Mikheil Saakashvili will be held today. The sitting is scheduled for 11:00 in the Tbilisi City Court.

His rights defenders say that they will present a specific motion today, but do not specify other details at this stage.

Mikheil Saakashvili’s lawyers applied to the court for the postponement of sentence or the release of the former resident. Judge Giorgi Arevadze is considering the said motion.
