The Zugdidi District Court found Badri Esebuaguilty of illegal purchase and possession of firearms and ammunition.

The judge Shota Bichia sentenced Esebua to 4 years in prison.

The defense demanded a minimum sentence based on the honest confession of the accused, which the prosecution did not agree with.
