The works on Tsereteli Avenue are very active during the day and night, said today the Mayor of Tbilisi.

“Asphalt has already been laid in the lower layers, the sidewalks are being arranged, the arches of the communication well are being raised and brought to the mark. After that, asphalt will be laid. As we promised the population, traffic will be restored in both directions at the end of January”, - said Kakha Kaladze.

When asked whether he rules out that investigative agencies were interested in the Tsereteli Avenue project, the Mayor answers:

“If someone is interested, we will answer, there is nothing to hide. Everything is public, anyone can get information. There are no problems and there is nothing to hide. False information was spread, as if the State Security Service and financial police had entered the city hall. This is a very big lie and misinformation”, added Kaladze.
