Rustavi prepares for the Georgian dance competition-festival “Kartuli”

Georgian dance competition-festival – “Kartuli” will be held in Rustavi.

Rustavi mayor Nino Latsabidze, together with the head of the artistic department, Khatia Potskhverashvili introduced the festival presentation to the Rustavi choreographers.

The project – “Kartuli” is being held for the first time this year. The event is planned for the end of April and will occupy the festival space arranged in Rustavi Theater Square for 7 days.

The competitive part of the festival will last 6 days and will be closed with a gala concert on the 7th day. Ensembles operating in Kvemo Kartli will take part in this year"s festival. Winners will be selected in 10 different nominations, and the best participant will be awarded with the Grand Prix.

In addition to choreography, ethnographic, industrial and culinary corners, handicrafts exhibition will also be presented in the festival space.
