The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, and Mayor of Tbilisi Kakha Kaladze unveiled a multifunctional sports centre in the Didi Digomi district, Tbilisi.

“In the history of independent Georgia, such a large project - a multifunctional sports space - has not been implemented before. This is the first of its scale in the region as well this space will soon serve our capital’s population. The facility featured 2 swimming pools, 2 basketball courts, and dedicated areas for gymnastics, boxing, wrestling, and a variety of fitness activities. Additional amenities include a media library, a café, rest areas, saunas, and underground parking. The centre was designed to accommodate up to 10,000 visitors each month”, - said Kakha Kaladze.

The total cost of the project is GEL 17.18 million.
