Agency for IDPs, Eco-Migrants and Livelihood will buy houses in rural areas for 603 internally displaced families.
The mentioned decision was made by the IDPs Study Commission in accordance with the Order No. 01-30/N of the Minister of Labor, Health and Social Protection of IDPs from the Occupied Territories of Georgia.
“The agency monitored displaced families and studied their living conditions on the spot. The commission discussed the issue of resettlement of each family in accordance with the Minister’s order.
The list of mentioned families is published on the website of the agency. Displaced families are given a 6-month period to choose houses in any region of Georgia.
The amount allocated for the purchase of housing is determined taking into account the affordability of the family.
