No evidence of alleged vote manipulation had been produced so far. Such a statement made today Mamuka Mdinaradze, the Executive Secretary of the Georgian Dream.

“Our society has endured 6 days of bullying over claims of vote-rigging, yet no one has presented a single piece of evidence or factual proof. It seems the “top brains” haven’t figured it out. However, if we take this issue seriously, today we will present evidence and specific facts demonstrating how certain individuals tried to steal votes from the Georgian Dream, the schemes involved, their actions, and the concrete evidence supporting this”, - said Mamuka Mdinaradze.

He further identified the opposition’s first alleged vote-stealing scheme as the registration of the Georgian Dream supporters as representatives at other polling stations. He noted that the opposition did not expect this tactic to become public, adding that 81 cases suggest a systematic approach.

“We have 81 confirmed and identified cases that we will submit to the Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia today… The opposition is not cooperating with the investigation, so details would be shared to prevent similar alleged crimes in the future.

These 81 cases involve specific voters, identified as the Georgian Dream supporters, who arrived at polling stations only to find they had been registered elsewhere. It was discovered that they were appointed by parties within the United National Movement cluster as representatives at other, often distant, polling stations. For example, a regular Georgian Dream voter, hypothetically someone like Mamuka Mdinaradze, would go to vote in Saburtalo only to find that he was registered as a representative of the United National Movement at a polling station in Samtredia. Consequently, many of our supporters were unable to cast their votes, although some managed to do so, while others did not”, - added Executive Secretary of the ruling party.
