“Gakharia for Georgia” party appeals to the court to ensure the protection of the information in the Central Election Commission [CEC] servers and electronic devices and to compel the CEC to make voting information available to voters. The relevant statement made today one of the leaders of the party, Natia Mezvrishvili.
“Until now, the CEC avoids meeting our request and making voting information available to voters. The CEC also avoids giving us complete information about the details of the contract signed with “Smart Matik”, we mean the documentation that regulates the storage of a unified list of voters in electronic voting machines, the period of storage of the list and the procedures for deleting this information.
Today, this information must be stored in 2 places - on CEC servers and in electronic devices. As we know, the databases on the CEC servers are being falsified and the information on the electronic devices is being deleted.
Each day of delay creates the risk of destroying vital evidence, which is only in the interest of the [Georgian] Dream. Therefore, today we appealed to the court to ensure the protection of the said information wherever it is stored and to force the CEC to comply with our request”, - said Natia Mezvrishvili.
