According to the 2024 Positive Peace Index, Georgia was named among the 50 best countries

The European Commission published the Positive Peace Index 2024 [PPI], with Georgia improving its ranking by 6 positions and securing the status of a high level of positive peace.

The PPI measures the relative level of societal resilience of a nation or region.

Georgia ranks 49th globally and with the historic improvement of the situation the country has been presented as a global example of progress.

Georgia was named among the 10 countries where the highest progress was expected in the future, based on the country’s improvement.

It should be mentioned that in the world ranking, Georgia is ahead of all neighbouring countries, takes 4th place after the Baltic countries among the post-Soviet countries.
