Opposition leaders - Nika Melia, Giorgi Vashadze, Tina Bokuchava, Mamuka Khazaradze, Badri Japaridze, Saba Buadze, Zurab Japaridze, Sopo Japaridze - and their supporters have taken today to the streets, marching from the Court of Appeal to Station Square.
Although a rally at the Sports Palace was announced yesterday, November 4, the opposition adjusted its plans following a decision from the Tetritskaro court. Leaders underlined the importance of demanding fair hearings from the Court of Appeal.
Later participants of the rally moved from Tsereteli Avenue to Saakadze Square. They have the flags of Georgia and the European Union on their place and they invite the citizens to participate in the march.
To ensure order, the participants of the procession were followed by several crews of the patrol police.
