Greek airline Sky Express has entered the Georgian aviation market, launching direct regular flights from Athens to Tbilisi 3 times a week.

A reception marking the airline’s debut took place at Tbilisi International Airport, attended by Irakli Karkashadze, General Director of United Airports of Georgia, Tea Zakharadze, General Manager of TAV Georgia, Ioannis Grylos, owner of Sky Express, etc.

“The new flights would strengthen air traffic between Georgia and Greece and improve passenger forecasts. I wish the airline success, many passengers and safe flights”, - said Irakli Karkashadze.

Sky Express becomes the 3rd airline, after Aegean Airlines and Wizz Air, to offer direct flights between Georgia and Greece. In 2024, Tbilisi and Kutaisi airports served 186,782 passengers travelling between Georgia and Greece.
