The European Parliament’s recent debates on Georgia are packed with lies, said today the Mayor of Tbilisi.
“We heard the statements that were packed with lies, but at the same time, there were statements that corresponded to reality. It was about that since the political team supported by several MEPs didn’t win in the elections, then the elections were held incorrectly and badly. All this time, they have been talking as if the elections were rigged, although there are no specific facts in this regard, we only hear statements packed with lies.
They have no arguments regarding the alleged election fraud. We have been hearing statements both from within the country and from abroad for a long time.
The Central Election Commission appealed to the Prosecutor’s Office, an investigation was launched, and those who had spoken about fraud, claiming to have numerous facts, were summoned. In reality, it turned out they had nothing”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
