May be we make mistakes in communication, but we explain every day that Georgia is continuing the process of European integration. Such a statement made today the Mayor of Tbilisi, while commenting the recent developments in the country.
“On November 28, the Prime Minister’s statement explained in detail that Georgia continues its European integration. We have signed the association agreement, which is the so-called guide, and of course we follow the processes consistently.
Also, it was said that we certainly don’t want to be blackmailed all the time. The status of the candidate was used as a tool for blackmail, now the issue of opening negotiations is used as a tool for blackmail.
We talked very deeply and a lot about this matter. I think that today there is no person left in the country who could not understand what is happening in reality. Maybe there was uncertainty at first, maybe many people didn’t understand, maybe we made a mistake in communication and couldn’t provide you with something, but for the last few days there have been explanations about the European integration process every day, and I think everything is clear, clear and understandable.
We are a self-respecting people, a self-respecting nation with a great culture, traditions and past, which we are proud of, and I think we are interesting for the European family with all of this”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
