Shalva Tadumadze appointed Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs

Shalva Tadumadze has been appointed as the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

He previously served as the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of Georgia since 2019 and was a life-long judge of the Supreme Court.

Tadumadze also held the position of Chief Prosecutor of Georgia from 2018 to 2019 and worked as the Head of the Administration of the Government of Georgia.

A graduate of the Tbilisi Humanitarian Institute in 1998 with a qualification in law, Shalva Tadumadze passed the bar exam with a general specialization in 2006 and completed studies at the Tbilisi School of Political Studies in 2007.

The newly appointed Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs has many years of experience working in both the public and private sectors.
