According to the “Tbilisi Energy” [TE], the restoration of natural gas supply to subscribers disconnected from the network has resumed from 8 am.

“All resources of the company are fully directed to the restoration of gas supply. At the moment, gas is fully supplied to Vake. 65% of Saburtalo is currently connected.

The process of restoring gas supply is actively underway. We will provide you with updates periodically”, - reads the statement released by TE.

Gas supply to subscribers in the Vake - Saburtalo district was interrupted on February 9 - the central and 500-millimeter gas pipelines were damaged. As a result, the gas supply has been cut off for 3 days to about 150,000 subscribers. The gas pipeline was damaged under unknown circumstances, most likely by a third party.
