Heavy snowfall has rendered 12 villages in Sachkhere municipality inaccessible. In particular, these are the villages Nigvzara, Korbouli, Speti, Shomakheti, Mokhva, Tskhomareti, Bakhioti, Tskhami, Durevi, Chalovani, Lichi, and Ghodora.

Snow accumulation in these areas ranges from 50 to 120 centimeters.

Heavy machinery has been deployed to clear the roads.

According to the existing information, electricity has been cut off for 40 families, although potable water is being supplied.

Besides, as it known, the heavy snowfall cuts off access to 149 villages in Imereti.
