The US aviation has dropped the largest non-nuclear bomb on the ISIS positions.

The GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast bomb -- better known as the "Mother Of All Bombs" -- hit ISIS hideouts in Achin district in eastern Nangarhar province on Thursday.

 The White House did not specify the details of the operation , no statements were made by Pentagon either. Only the Afghan law enforcement bodies speak about the developments. according to them there are no civil causalities.

"As a result of the bombing, key Daesh (IS) hideouts and deep tunnel complex were destroyed and 36 IS fighters were killed," the defense ministry said in a statement.

 The US President Donald Trump had earlier called the mission "very, very successful.”
