Constitutional amendments - it will be clear in a week if opposition parties support document presented by ruling party

Opposition parties remaining in the Constitutional Commission are not going to announce boycott at this stage. If their positions are not considered in the final edition of the Constitution developed by the Commission, representatives of political parties will not participate in the ballot, which is also a form of boycott.

The National Movement believes that the majority will not compromise on the principle issues, for this reason the party has left the constitutional commission.

The Georgian Dream accuses boycotting parties of political speculation.

Non-parliamentary opposition is convinced that the bill prepared by the Commission will be less legitimate under the regime of boycott, so they call on the parties in the Commission for termination of their involvement.

The Constitutional Commission should complete the work on the project in a week, and then it become clear whether the document will be supported by the opposition parties remaining in the commission.
