Political parties are preparing for the upcoming self-government elections in Georgia.
The elections should be held in October and the President of Georgia must announce the exact date.
Citizens of Georgia will elect mayors in 12 self-governing cities.
"The elections shall be appointed by the President of Georgia with the confirmation of the Prime Minister. The elections are appointed no later than on the 60th day. According to the legislation, there are 12 self-governing cities that elect the city mayor, "said the spokesperson of the Central Election Commission of Georgia, Anna Mikeladze.
