Giorgi Kvirikashvili met with founder of World Economic Forum in Jordan

The Prime Minister of Georgia met with the founder of the World Economic Forum during his working visit to Jordan. Professor Klaus Schwab talked about the ongoing economic processes in the world, regional cooperation and participation in regional projects of Georgia. The sides talked about Georgia`s role in the Silk Road Project and noted that Georgia had the potential to be a competitive transit corridor in shipping from Asia to Europe .

"We talked about the ongoing economic reforms in Georgia and the opportunities available in the country. It was noted that Georgia has a serious progress towards economic growth and it is gradually becoming more and more important in relation to economic processes in the region, "- said Davit Zalkaliani, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
