About 3 thousand military personnel are mobilized at the Russian military base in occupied Tskhinvali region. The commander of the South Ossetian military district of Russia declared alarm within the military exercises.

According to the information released by the Ministry of Defense of Russia, the personal staff of the military base will be taught how to act during the air attack and learn the effective management of the divisions in mountainous terrain.

Training is carried out using 500 units of armored vehicles and combat vehicles. Large-scale exercises will continue in occupied Tskhinvali region until June 17.
