Azerbaijani businessman accusses Georgian partners and their patrons for misappropriation of 1 million 800 thousand dollars. According to investors,the former chief prosecutor was involved in the scheme.

Azeri businessman says that Rezo Khvedelidze and the people with him spent the money he paid.

"Rezo and his son came to me, we went to the notary and confirmed the contract with him, and then I transfered an investment from my personal account of $ 800,000. We agreed that after 1 year they would return me this money. After about 2-3 months, I accidentally heard that they were not in the oil business and were spending the money I had paid. This is a fraud. The prosecutor`s office knows everything but the rezo told me that he has people in the investigative department and that my statement will remain on the paper, "- said businessman Zakir Babaev.

The defendant"s explanation is that he is ready to prove his own truth in the courtroom.
