Scandalous testimony - accused of terrorism, murder and kidnapping were hiding in the Patriarch`s house

The scandalous testimony of former head of the Patriarch`s Security Service, Soso Okhanashvili - in 2016 three persons accused of murder, kidnapping and terrorism were hiding in the house of Patriarch. Turkish law enforcers were looking for them.

Soso Okhanashvili voiced the details of scandalous history at the court hearing of the cyanide case. From his testimonies it has become known that the patriarch`s security officers found the people wanted in Turkey in the house of Ilia II and that they were accomodated there by the secretary of the Patriarch, Shorena Tetruashvili and chairman of the supervisory board of the Patriarchate`s University, Giorgi Andriadze.

It is unknown whether the law enforcers questioned Giorgi Andriadze or Shorena Tetruashvili on the case. According to Soso Okhanashvili`s testimony, Georgian law enforcers had information about the presence of the peope wanted by the Turkish authorities in the Patriarch`s house.

Soso Okhanashvili says that Shorena Tetruashvili and Giorgi Andriadze,had hidden for several months the people wanted in Turkey in the Patriarch`s residence so that Ilia II did not know anything about it. Okanashvili provided the Catholicos with information on the developments in his home. According to the decision of the Patriarch, the wanted people were taken away from his home by the security personnel in April 2016.

As it has become known to "Courier", that the developments in the house of Ilia II in April of 2016 caused a big scandal in the Patriarchate and Shorena Tetruashvili and Soso Okhanashvili confronted each other.

Giorgi Andriadze did not respond to "Courier`s" questions.
