More than 7 million tourists visited Georgia in 2017. Compared to the previous year, their number increased by 18 percent. In 2017 the largest number of visitors were from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkey and Iran.

A Head of National Tourism Administration, Giorgi Chogovadze summed up the data.

"We have a significant increase in revenues and incomes," said Giorgi Chogovadze.
