A meeting of the EU Interior Ministers has begun in Brussels . According to the preliminary information, Germany intends to raise an issue that involves visa-free travel with Georgia and the number of asylum seekers.
This particular issue is not on the official agenda of the meeting, but Sweden also supports to discuss the issue of illegal and criminal migration from Germany along with Germany.
The parties made no comments before the meeting.
Only after the meeting will become known what will be the decision of the EU countries regarding visa liberalization of Georgia.
The President of Georgia is paying a working visit to Brussels. He will move to the EU Council later and hold negotiations.
