Georgian Defense Minister Levan Izoria comments on the statement made by the Russian Foreign Ministry Special Representative Maria Zaharova.

Maria Zaharova has made an announcement on normalization of Georgia-Russia relations and has stated that the Tatunashvili"s case can not be a factor in hampering the process.

Maria Zaharova states that since 2012 the relationship between Georgia and Russia has slowly improved.

A Defense Minister of Georgia draws attention to the situation in the occupied regions and imposes full responsibility on Russia.

"Russia controls the occupied territories, so all the actions that, "said the Minister.
