Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance has seized a large amount of smuggled gold and silver

The Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance has revealed five facts of gold smuggling.

In four cases, the defendants tried to bring gold into the territory of Georgia through the recesses arranged in the car. Over 5 kg of gold and more than 50 kg of silver have been seized.

In another case, a person attempted to import gold jewelry worth of 360,000 GEL without filling the customs declaration.
