Increasing prices and further depreciation of GEL - Experts have revealed alarming trends in the 2019 budget.

In the country"s main financial document, the calculation is performed by the economic team of the government on a new rate of GEL - the cost of one-GEL in the budget with respect to the USD 2,63 GEL.

Experts expect a sharp depreciation of the national currency by mid-November.

According to analysts, a price of one dollar will become GEL 2.72, which will lead to increasing prices on imported products and medicines.
