James Appathurai is in the NATO Liaison Office where he is meeting with the representatives of the NGO sector. The meeting is closed for media and comments will be made after the meeting is completed.
According to NGO representatives, the main topic of discussion will be the developments in the presidential elections.
The NATO Secretary General"s Special Representative has held talks with the United Opposition"s presidential candidate Grigol Vashadze.
Appathurai held official meetings in the morning. He arrived at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the beginning of the visit. NATO Secretary General"s Special Representative met with Prime Minister and then Salome Zourabichvili. He also held a meeting with students and talked about Russian aggression and security issues.
