President"s first working visit to Brussels - Foreign Ministers of EU member states speak about expectations

The first working visit of the President of Georgia in Brussels begins tomorrow. Salome Zourabichvili will hold meetings at European structures and the NATO. The Foreign Ministers of EU member states have already assessed the visit. They evaluate the first working visit of the President of Georgia in the capital of the European Union

Foreign Ministers of the EU member states talk about their expectations. The Foreign Minister of Lithuania believes that the President"s visit indicates that Georgia"s relationship with the EU is important.
" We know that the situation is not easy with South Ossetia and Abkhazia. Borderization and pressure are serious problems. But Georgia must go forward. The new President and the government must prove it on the ground with their actions," - said Linas Linkevicius.


Belgian Foreign Minister speaks about close ties with Georgia."As you know, we have a good partnership with Georgia in various aspects, including in military missions," -he says.

The Slovak Foreign Minister also made a statement regarding Salome Zourabichvili"s visit.
" The President"s visit is a very good opportunity to discuss Georgia"s achievements and future. We will mark the tenth anniversary of the launch of the Eastern Partnership Program. It is interesting to hear from the Georgian side how they see the future of this program, "- he said.
