Tornike Mamaladze, the brother of convicted deacon Giorgi Mamaladze will hold a demonstration at the Patriarchate today.
He made a statement and said that from the first days of the rallies at the Patriarchate, the health condition of his brother in prison deteriorated but he there was no reaction.
"On February 17, at 12:00, at the Patriarchy we are planning to hold a rally again. I want to address the people of Georgia who take it close to the heart and think that my brother, an innocent person is unlawfully punished, I ask the Patriarchy to support the innocent prisoner, "- Tornike Mamaladze said.
Due to the deterioration of health conditions, deacon Giorgi Mamaladze was taken to Gudushauri Clinic on February 15 at 21:35.

by Father Nikoloz from Batumi who conducted communion.
According to him, due to stroke, Father Giorgi Mamaladze can not speak.Archpriest Giorgi Mamaladze has long been asking for a communion, though he has not been given consent yet.
Giorgi Mamaladze"s family has been protesting with at the Patriarch"s office for a few days now.
The Patriarchate issued a statement a few days ago to answer the family, saying that any cleric who could take the burden of the sacrament would be able to serve the deacon.
