Giorgi Kadagidze was summoned to the Prosecutor"s Office today, although the former president of the National Bank refused to go to the Investigative Office. In a few hours the prosecutor"s office will appeal to the court to conduct the questioning of Kadagidze in the presence of a judge. The case concerns the money laundering in connection with TBC Bank case - during the period which is being investigated, Giorgi Kadagidze was the head of the Financial Monitoring Service of the National Bank.
Giorgi Kadagidze made a statement in social network at the end of the day and said he would give testimony to the court without his attorneys. Kadagidze also supported creation of a parliamentary investigative commission.
